A quarter of urban populations worldwide live in slums – informal, unplanned, and densely crowded neighbourhoods.
In Sub-Saharan Africa alone, half of city residents live in such communities. Life in informal settlements is hard. Residents are forced to use unclean, shared latrines while paying 10x the price usually charged by the utility for water.
We exist to address these issues and achieve meaningful and sustainable change. We develop solutions that are affordable for the poor, financially viable for suppliers, and sustainable for the environment.
