About WSUP Advisory
Established in 2015, WSUP Advisory is a subsidiary of WSUP that operates as an independently governed, for-profit company. Working with a wide range of stakeholders – from governments and regulators to international finance institutions and corporates – WSUP Advisory helps tackles the challenge of rapid urbanisation and aims to improve life for millions of people who lack access to improved water and sanitation services. All profits from WSUP Advisory go to support WSUP’s work with low-income communities.
WSUP Advisory occupies a niche in providing technical assistance and advice based on a strategic, commercial, organisational and management perspective related to urban water and sanitation. Our broad range of services include strategy development, business planning, institutional development and change management, research and advisory, and programme design.
Areas of expertise
We are experts in citywide inclusive sanitation, utility strengthening, and pro-poor water and sanitation service models. We work with national, regional, and city-level stakeholders to develop water, sanitation and hygiene plans that not only deliver immediate impact for local communities, but also increase long-term water security, promote energy efficiency and reduce the vulnerability of water and sanitation infrastructure.
