As part of this effort, UN-Habitat has launched the Global Report on Sanitation and Wastewater Management in Cities and Human Settlements, highlighting the critical need for improved wastewater and faecal sludge management. The report underscores how systemic neglect in this area hampers progress toward the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The webinar will feature discussions on how governments, city planners, and development partners can accelerate progress towards achieving SDG 6.2 by prioritizing sanitation and wastewater management within urban planning and development.
